Social Media Intern
During this internship, I led the social media presence for ReelHeART International Film and Screenplay Festival, developing and executing digital marketing strategies that grew audience engagement and expanded the festival’s visibility ahead of its annual event.
I managed content creation and scheduling across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, producing posts that spotlighted featured films, directors, and event announcements. By maintaining a consistent publishing cadence and tailoring content to each platform, I helped strengthen the festival’s online community and broaden its reach to new audiences and filmmakers.
To ensure continuous improvement, I tracked and analyzed post performance and engagement metrics, using those insights to refine the content strategy over time. This data-driven approach informed decisions around timing, format, and messaging, resulting in more effective audience interaction across all platforms.
I also contributed to blog updates and promotional campaigns supporting the festival’s marketing efforts in the lead-up to the event.
This role deepened my expertise in social media management, content strategy, and analytics, and gave me valuable hands-on experience working within the fast-paced environment of an international cultural festival.
